Quick problem-solving and effective solutions
Q:Detetcor shows not connected or failed to connect
A: 1.Check the hardware interface such as power supply and network cable connections. Ensure the power cord and network cable are securely plugged in and verify that the status light shows normal operation. 2.Verify successful network connection. Set the network IP address as required, and it's recommended to use a fixed IP address.
Q:The detector is successfully connected to the computer, but the image cannot be collected.
A: 1.Check for firewall blocking. Confirm that the computer firewall, especially third-party firewalls, are disabled or add the Demo software and integrated software to the firewall whitelist.
2.Verify network status. Ensure the Ethernet transmission rate meets or exceeds 1/10Gbps; some detectors require a 10G network.
3.Enable jumbo . Confirm that the jumbo function is enabled. If using the universal network card driver installed by Driver Genius, it may not achieve optimal performance. Download the official driver from the website to update the network card driver.
4.Start acquisition failed.Couldn't open steam -- Restart the detector (power off and on).
Q:The detector calibration effect is not good.
A:1.Ensure the calibration template is generated using the calibration function of Demo software or call the calibration API of SDK to generate the template. If a correction template has been generated in fixed gain and Binning mode, recalibration is necessary when switching to other gain or Binning modes .
2. The correction template is not enabled - If using the Demo software, navigate to the dropdown menu on the left side and select "Enable dark field, bright field, and bad pixel correction.” For SDK users, refer to the SDK development manual for instructions on activating the enable function.
3. The correction template is not applicable - Generally, recalibration is required when there are changes in the system's state, such as its geometric layout. While this can sometimes be overlooked depending on actual image quality, not recalibrating may impact correction effectiveness. It's advisable to recalibrate the detector after six months of operation.
Q:The collected images with bad pixels and bad lines.
A: 1.If the bad pixel template isn't loaded, first ensure that the corresponding bad pixel file exists in either the Demo software or the integrated software directory. In the Demo software, activate the bad pixel correction feature from the dropdown menu located on the left side. For those utilizing the SDK for further development, refer to the SDK development manual for instructions on enabling coefficients.
2.New bad pixels appear - This indicates that the detector has been operational for an extended period or has aged. Please contact an engineer for remote assistance or consider returning the unit.
Q:The detector has some channels that appear brighter or darker under large grayscale conditions.
Some pixels, channels, or areas may become saturated due to excessive radiation dose, exceeding the detector's saturation threshold. It is recommended to maintain the grayscale value below approximately 55,000 during detector operation. This can be achieved by adjusting the gain gear (Gain0~Gain3) or reducing the radiation dose (adjusting KV, mA, FPS, SID). If the detector channel is damaged by irradiation, please contact our after sales engineer .
